About
Namaste. I work with children (7+), teens, and adults who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, self-esteem challenges, or difficulty adjusting to life’s transitions. With children, I focus on helping them build confidence, manage big emotions, and develop tools to
express themselves in healthy ways. With teens, I provide a supportive space to explore identity, manage stress and peer pressures, and learn practical coping skills for challenges such as anxiety, panic attacks, or low mood.
I also support parents, offering guidance on how to strengthen family relationships, improve communication, and understand their child’s needs from a compassionate,
developmental lens.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked with the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board as an Educational Resource Worker, supporting children with intellectual, behavioural and developmental disabilities. Those experiences inspired my commitment to creating spaces where people feel understood, valued, and empowered to grow.
I also bring more than a decade of leadership experience in the hospitality industry, which gave me a deep understanding and insight into the demands of high-pressure environments, including stress, burnout, and self-
doubt. These personal and professional experiences deeply inform my practice today and fuel my dedication to supporting others through their own struggles.
Having immigrated to Canada, I value cultural diversity and take a strength-based approach that honours each person’s unique story. I can offer sessions in both English and Hindi, allowing clients to feel supported in the language they are most comfortable with.
In our sessions, you can expect a safe and non-judgmental space where you set the pace. Early sessions are about getting to know you, your story, and your goals. As we move forward, we’ll work together on strategies that help you manage any overwhelming emotions, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and find ways to care for yourself with greater compassion. By the end of
sessions, my goal is to help you not only feel better in the moment but also build long-term skills for growth and well-being as well as increased confidence, greater resilience, and healthier coping strategies for navigating life’s challenges.
My therapeutic style is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed practices. Together, we’ll uncover what feels most important to you and move toward healing in ways that feel safe and meaningful.
In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, music, traveling, and spending time with my family. Long walks with my husband and board games with my daughters are some of my favourite ways to recharge.
