About

Do you feel like you have just been going through the motions on autopilot? Or like you are “white knuckling” your way through each day? Whether you’re feeling caught in a difficult cycle or struggling to cope with the past, we can work together to move you from surviving to thriving. The therapeutic space I provide is down-to-earth and transparent, encouraging open-dialogue and partnership.

With over a decade of experience as a Registered Nurse in mental health and addictions, I’ve learned this absolute truth: You are the expert on your own life. While life challenges are inevitable, facing them alone doesn’t have to be. My role is to walk alongside you, combining my clinical background with an eclectic, trauma-informed, strengths-based approach that is tailored specifically to your unique goals. I strive to provide a nonjudgmental, culturally sensitive, and compassionate space where clients feel safe and supported during vulnerable moments.

I have extensive experience supporting clients and families through:

·    Substance Use Disorders: Opioid use disorder, alcohol use disorder, stimulant use disorder

·    Mood Disorders: anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders

·    Complex Mental Disorders: schizophrenia, psychosis, and personality disorders

·    Crisis & Trauma: suicidal ideation, adjustment disorders, and past trauma

While my experience is broad, I have special interest in

·    Women’s Health: navigating infertility, endometriosis, PCOS

·    Recovery: Substance use disorders, coping with stressors and cravings

·    Self-Confidence: body image, self-esteem, interpersonal concerns,

·    Neurodiversity: Supporting individuals with ADHD

So, how will we work together? By identifying the difficulties along the path that led you here, we can establish a new path to get you where you want to be. Using evidence-based approaches and interventions, I can support you in creating healthy coping strategies, developing flexible, positive thinking patterns, improved emotional regulation, and resilience.

In my spare time, I enjoy working on my never-ending list of art projects – there is something about having paint under my nails and pencil shavings scattered around that soothes my soul. I love to find new places to adventure with my family & our Aussie pup. If there is an animal nearby, you can bet I am trying to be its best friend. Canadian living means embracing snow which I do by snowshoeing and heading to the woods for a boil up. In warmer months, I am at the camper every chance, barefoot, listening to an audiobook in the sun, paddle boarding, and soaking up being present with “my village” – because it certainly takes one.
