About

With 17 years of experience as a police officer, I have worked in high-stress, high-risk environments with regular exposure to trauma. I bring this real-world perspective into my work, creating a space where clients feel genuinely understood and respected. I specialize in working with First Responders and their families.

I support individuals navigating stress, trauma, and life transitions, helping them make sense of their experiences and feel more grounded in their daily lives. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your needs. Together, we work to build insight, strengthen emotional awareness, and develop practical coping strategies that support meaningful and lasting change.

I work with teenagers and adults from a wide range of backgrounds, including frontline workers who may be navigating high-stress environments, trauma exposure, or the unique challenges that come with their roles. I also have an interest in supporting individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, including Asian and South Asian communities, while remaining open and inclusive to all identities and experiences. My approach is grounded in cultural sensitivity, respect, and an understanding that each person’s story is shaped by their individual and cultural context.

I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin, therapy can be a place to process, reflect, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. We can work together to make sense of what you’re experiencing and find practical ways forward.

What sets me apart is my professional background in policing, which has given me a unique understanding of high-stress environments, trauma exposure, and the stigma that can exist around seeking support. I recognize that many individuals, especially those in helping or frontline roles, may carry experiences they haven’t fully had the space to process or even identify. This perspective allows me to approach therapy with both clinical knowledge and real-world understanding, particularly when working with clients who may be used to “pushing through” rather than seeking help.

In our sessions, you can expect a collaborative and supportive approach. I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship and meeting you where you are, while gently helping you develop insight, emotional awareness, and coping strategies. I draw from evidence-based approaches, while remaining flexible and responsive to your unique needs. Therapy with me is not about judgment or pressure, it’s about creating a safe environment where you can explore, process, and grow.

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, playing pickleball, and traveling to new places.
